The Camino Charity

Offering Life-Changing Journeys Along The Camino De Santiago for Veterans, Young People, and Vulnerable Women. Supporting Mental Health and Promoting Healing

About Us

The Camino Charity is a registered 501(C)(3) non-profit organization established in 2021. Our mission is simple: to help those most in need experience the healing powers of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, otherwise known as the Way of St James. By facilitating life-affirming guided treks, we help veterans, vulnerable women, youth, and other groups to overcome trauma, build resilience, strengthen self-confidence, increase empathy and improve general mental health.

As the charity of the Camino de Santiago, we also provide expert educational information on the network of routes, culture, history, and philosophies of the trek to anyone interested in walking the Camino de Santiago to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain.
